Integral management of Discapnet

One of our main pioneering portal management projects is Discapnet (www.discapnet.es), an initiative by the Fundación ONCE which is co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), to encourage people with disabilities to use internet and to improve both their social integration and their participation in the labour market.

Discapnet provides a wide range of contents and services aimed at enhancing the standard of living of people with disabilities, their personal autonomy and their participation in the cultural, social and economic spheres.

Discapnet’s portal incorporates numerous interactive tools with which to build virtual communities, to network, and to share knowledge and experiences. Moreover, it offers a personalised advisory service through which users can consult a team of lawyers, doctors and specialists in training and employment matters.

The outcome is the most important disability portal in the Spanish-speaking world. Discapnet’s ever-increasing number of visits is greater than that of the major disability portals in the United Kingdom and the United States.
